We love food. We love everything about making food. We love experimenting with new ingredients and coming up with unique and delicious flavors. We love the practically alchemic act of combining ingredients to create something edible. We love the aroma that comes from the oven or the grill or the fryer or the hibachi or the blender or whatever we may be using at the time. Cleaning up the kitchen afterwards, ok, maybe not so much. But nothing beats a home cooked meal.
We also know that not everyone is a raving lunatic willing to spend so much time experimenting with food that they don't even want to eat it by the time they're done. That's why we're here.
Like anything else, cooking takes practice to get good at. Our aim is to demystify the art of cooking with easily understandable recipes and pictures to help you along the way. We even rate the difficulty of the recipes so you don't end up being in over your head.

Q: What's with the different color backgrounds for some recipes?
A: The background color is based on the difficulty rating. Green is 1, yellow is 2, orange is 3, and red is 4.
Q: I like to cook and have a whole bunch of recipes I'd like to share with you guys. How do I do this?
A: Head over to the Submit Recipe page and send them to us! Pictures aren't necessary since we test and photograph submitted recipes before posting them. We'll give you credit for the recipe, of course.
Q: How often are new recipes added?
A: I have no idea, we just started. Since the site hasn't been pushed publically yet, we're taking our time putting up recipes. There are only a few of us, after all.
Q: Just a few of you? Hey, do you guys need help?
A: Help would be fantastic. Unfortunately, we're sort of picky control freaks, so help is sort of hard to find. If you think you're qualified though, drop us a line on the Contact page.
Q: Who started this monstrosity?
A: Hi, my name is Angel. I am in fact a guy, although the fruity colored web site isn't doing much to support that fact. I designed the majority of the site's appearance and wrote about 1/3 of the back end code. My lovely co-creator is Marisa. She wrote the other 2/3 of the code and yells at me when something isn't aesthetically pleasing enough.
Q: Why are you writing your own "frequently asked questions"?
A: Nobody loves me :( Also because I was tired of looking at a blank "About" page. Why? Do you actually have a question? ASK US PLEASE!
