If you plan on using this as a main course, it'll feed four people. As a side, you can probably feed six to eight with it. The beans reheat phenomenally well though, so don't be afraid of making too much.

Ingredients:
- 1 8oz can Tomato Sauce
- 2 10.5oz cans Beans (I used black here, but you can use whatever you want)
- 8oz Water
- 2 packets Sazon Goya*
- Goya Adobo*
- Garlic Powder
- Oregano
- 2 packages Instant Rice (I used brown rice because it's healthier, but let's be honest, white rice tastes better)

*Optional*
-Cilantro

Empty the beans and tomato sauce into a medium saucepan.

Fill the tomato sauce can with water. From there, pour it into one of the bean cans and then back again. This will thicken the water a bit and get whatever remnants of sauce are left in the can. Pour the water into the saucepan.

Add 2 packets of Sazon and sprinkle on garlic powder, Adobo, oregano. There's really no exact measurement to the sprinkling here, but I'd say we used about two teaspoons of each.

Stir and bring to a boil. Stir again, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Each package of rice should take one and a half to two minutes, so wait until the end to make the rice. If you actually managed to procure some Sazon Goya, mix a packet into the rice to enhance the flavor. The beans can either be served alongside the rice or on top of it.

*I'm under the impression that Goya's Sazon and Adobo are not very widely available. This is very unfortunate since they're really wonderful seasonings. Both are salty seasonings, so they can be substituted by adding salt, pepper, and some extra garlic to the recipe. Later this week I'm going to experiment and try to recreate Sazon, so hang tight.
